The Chief Subjects Of the Hunger Games Movie

This movie revolves around the era, which is 74 years ahead of the present times, wherein a rebellion against the government did not succeed. To punish the people for their shot at revolt, the government demands tributes from all the 12 districts to be involved in the Hunger Games. The Hunger Games is a fight for survival wherein the main goal is to stay alive and avoid being killed. This event is carefully crafted to serve as a distraction from the harsh reality that they are actually under the power of the government.
There are different key points in the Hunger Games movie which distinctively describes how the government is in control. Such points are described in the succeeding lines.
First of all, the government's authority over the food of the masses is a subject that has been explicitly stated. There is a food restriction imposed by the government on the residents, and they are refrained from exceeding the food limitations. If a person is found to be guilty of breaking this policy, a harsh punishment awaits him.
Then, the next one is the control of the government over the land. You will never fail to notice that all the fences in the 12 districts are armed with increased levels of electrical voltages. Citizens of the 12 districts are constantly battling with famine and scarcity because most of the resources and food present in their area are being fenced away from them.
Also, the government is exercising an entire media control. Every time an announcement airs, the government has already conceived its concept, which is specially designed to bring across the message that they want the residents to learn. All of these individuals have just the option to view it silently as they weep in the very depths of their hearts.
Another theme depicted in the Hunger Games movie is how the government has total control over technology. The modernization in the technology has been withheld to the districts, and was well-endowed to the wealthier people in capitol. You can easily see paradise in the ways of living that is notably evident in the capitol, and hell on the lives of the districts, as communicated in the Hunger Games movie.
Last of all, the lives of the people in the districts are totally within the grasps of the government. Respect for the life of these citizens is absolutely nowhere to be found. More importance has been rendered on status, food, and fashion instead. Killing is one of the main essence of the Hunger Games so as to succeed in such event.
Such are the main themes that the  wants to convey. Many people have enjoyed watching this film probably because of the subtle hints that such themes are actually a reality today. Along with the excellent cast and storyline, is a worthwhile treat after all.
