All of us have a sales Genie that is just waiting for us to be tapped into and begin to start closing everyday sales. We do it everyday, when starting a relationship, whether its friends or romance. When we want our spouse to let us go somewhere with a friend, or even to take a vacation. When negotiating with a salesman about a car. The list goes on we are all ways selling to everyone around us. Lets increase your sales!
5 things That will unlock your sales genie
Most people believe that the selling begins at the end, but the selling really begins as soon as you make contact with your prospect.
1.) Breaking their internal Dialogue

First thing is; Breaking their internal Dialogue or in other words, distracting them from their own distractions. Making you their primary distraction. You need to know that we live in a world where we have more people who are constantly being distracted with their phones, ideas, thoughts, FaceboOK, relationship issues, honestly the list can go on and on. This method happens to be the most important one.
Her are some ways to break the internal dialogue:
"Guys today we will be sharing with you how I was able to make my dreams a reality.(pause)
"Hold on a second do you hear that noise coming from up there?"
"Hold on just second let me sip on this water, my throat's kind of dry"
"I'm sorry I ate some peanuts and my mouth is dry so if some spit goes flying around, I apologize in advance"
"Did you hear that guy fart?? He's just hating on the fact that I'm going to sweeten a deal"
Ok, you get the point right? As weird as some of this may sound there is a psychological shift that happens in a person's mind that allows them to go from being distracted and not paying any attention to you, to you becoming the main focus.
2.) Compelling story

Compelling story that gets your audience to focus in even more to exactly what you are going to share with them. This is super important, sometimes overloOKed. People spend to much time talking about the product/service, when the product actually sells itself. People buy from people who they can connect with and relate.
This is why it doesn't matter what you are selling, whether it's chocolates or car. Telling a story is a great way to illustrate a point or an example you want them to understand without coming out aggressive.

*Hot tip* common Archetypes is what you can use when telling your story. What are Archetypes?? Archetypes speak to us in a language of myths and symbols, perfectly suited to a society that had become fluent in high tech code, instant messages, and twitter "language". We are continually scanning our worlds for patterns. Particularly in people, because we know intuitively that if we understand someone's behavioral patterns we understand a person better. For instance, most people can relate to the "Underdog" who fights his way to the top. Or maybe "Athlete Archetype", working out each day, it's more than a hobby to them it's a part of who they are at the core.
So why does any of this matter?? It matters because once you can identify what kind of popular archetypes that people can relate to then you can unlock your sales Genie, Just by simply molding your story to fit any popular archetypes that you and your prospect can relate to.
3.) Give them a Gold Nugget

Be specific on what they're getting from listening to you. No one will ever want to hear you out if you don't give them a reason, most importantly what exactly they're going to get in return for them listening to you. So it can be several things; from giving them a deal, to giving them an incentive or by simply adding value and giving a cool Golden nugget about something they would find of value.
4.) Pacing
- this would be done more in a larger group than in a one on one, but never the less it's still a pretty neat tool to know. This is basically what I call "expanding your market" because when you pace you relate to everyone in the group about what your topic is.

So important there all ways has to be an objective to the bottom line. That you want the prospect to do, and in this case it's to have them pull out their credit card and perform a transaction that puts money into your pocketâEUR¦ Right?? So the best way to close is by doing to two thing.

What are embedded commands??? Here is an example, and this is a story about my wife and I.
When I use to close my prospects in my business
I'd start by sayingâEUR¦
"I'll never forget how close I was to losing my wife and never having the opportunity to share my life with her, if it wasn't for doing this exact thing that I am about to share with you guys. You see about 3 years ago my wife offered me a proposal I would not be able to turn down because I decided to go all in. I was sitting in my car when I received a phone call from her. She was excited and began to tell me that I had to make a decision to be with her. She explained that being with her was going to be difficult, because she was loOKing for someone who could add value to her. Someone who is willing to commit right now because she was serious about her life. I told her that I would call her back. She asked me if everything was fine and I responded "yea I'm fine". As I hung up the phone, I began to think how would my life loOK like if I didn't take action and buy into her proposal. I thought, the results were going to be me not satisfied, and I'll never forget.. I gave her called I said Yes! I'm ready to do this! I'm willing to make the commitment, and decision to buy into your proposal and be with you."

Notice all the red words, used as the embedded commands. This is how I used my story with my wife that portrayed an example of making a decision I could have regretted, or choosing to commit and it was the best decision. This story correlates to a decision that they must make in being my client. And of course, I am suggesting that they should choose to commit. See what I mean?
